Bio:
Tom majored in history and graduated with a B.A. from Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH. While in college he served the Ledyard Canoe Club as president and also as leader of the 'Down to the Sea' annual canoe trip on the Connecticut River. The Club became the subject of his senior thesis.
Before becoming a Realtor at Maxfield Real Estate in Wolfeboro, Tom was a teacher, dorm master, coach and athletic director at The Bement School in Deerfield, Mass. He established a field hockey jamboree for middle school teams in 1975 that continues today. Also, he was manager of a small ski area in western Mass. Over 25 summers were spent on Lake Winnipesaukee working with campers and staff at Camp Wyanoke in Wolfeboro and Camp DeWitt in Alton.
The natural beauty of the Lakes Region and the relaxed friendly atmosphere of the nearby communities were two of the reasons why Tom purchased a year round home in 1988 in Wolfeboro. The 1990's found Tom working for a restaurant and later helping to establish a restaurant in West Ossipee. After his marriage in 2001, Tom joined the real estate profession where he has enjoyed working with both sellers and buyers in helping them to achieve their goals.
